Basics to Practice for Good Health

Monday, July 21, 2008
  • Make it a regular challenge to locate ways to move your body more. Climb up stairs if given an option between that and escalators or elevators.
  • Stay away from the obvious food like fried foods, burgers and many other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, ribs and sausage).
  • Quit smoking completely, ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General proclaimed that smoking was injurious to your health, so better to avoid it.
  • Easier said than actually done, stress busters come in several ways. Some methods suggested by experts are to think positive thoughts.
  • There's a best connection between living well and fit and having a joyful outlook on life. Thought for the day: You cannot be sad when you are smiling or singing.
