
The trainers will support you mentally and physically. The fitness program typically starts with a comprehensive health screening. This process will include measuring your body. There is no doubt that boot camp fitness programs are rigorous, physically demanding training sessions aimed at achieving maximum results within short time. Most of the exercise programs followed by the boot camps are in line with the military training schools. They are deliberately designed to push your child to his/her limits.
Boot camps are military-style, semi-penal institutions that use discipline, military exercises, and rigorous physical training to reform a defiant child and supposedly transform him or her into a good disciplined child who will obey authority, follow rules, and improve behavior at home and school. The drawback is there is no therapy, no psychological intervention to address any underlying emotional or behavioral problems that the child may have been experiencing over many years.
There are a few types of boot camps apart from the state-run substitutes for juvenile jails. There is a lot of regimentation in the privately run camps where the masters enforce strict discipline. They expect the children to follow the rules and if they break them, inflict harsh punishments and generally rule through fear. These boot camps were originally conceived as a short-term alternative to military boarding schools. However, many psychologists and therapists do not agree that such intimidation results in a well-adjusted, responsible personality development.
Boot camps for children are intended to help them change negative behaviors and develop respect for parents and others. There are various types of
boot camps available including wilderness camps and military style camps. Regardless of which type of boot camp you select for your child, it will be a big change and there will be a period of adjustment. A child has to be prepared for what boot camp will be like to reduce fear and resentment.
It is important to research each boot camp before admitting your child. Find the one that meets your child's specific needs and provides activities that he or she will find interesting. Boot camps are not for everyone, but they can provide excellent results in the shortest possible time.
Explain to your child the reasons for sending him or her to boot camp. Talk to the child frankly

about specific behaviors that are causing problems and are unacceptable. Discuss how the boot camp will change this and instill in him or her right attitudes and behavior.Explain to the child what the boot camp life will be like. Discuss the rules the camp has that your child will need to follow. Inform the child how long he will be at camp and how he can contact you while he is there.
Be sure your child understands that you are not attempting to forsake or abandoning him or her. Convince the child you are sending him to
boot camp to help him develop a proper personality to help him face life better. Explain to your child that you love him a lot but certain behaviors need to change for him to succeed as an adult. Find out what things your child is allowed to take from home and help him pack.
Your child may have heard negative stories associated with boot camps. Tell him you have checked the camp out and although life may not be easy, it will still be enjoyable. Induce the child to ask questions and you answer them honestly without evading.
