Make it a point never to argue or be even remotely disobedient. Implicitly follow instructions and do exactly what you are told to do, do it when you're told to do it, and do it in the manner you are told to do it. Never overreach or try to be smart. When speaking to a Drill Instructor always stand at rigid attention with eyes locked forward. It is said in a boot camp that if you're on time, then you're late. Always be present where you are supposed to be at least five minutes earlier.
